Albany Accommodation

Albany Accommodation

Albany Accommodation by David Gaynor Clarke of Cape Howe Cottages.

Cape Howe Cottages, as the name suggests provides cottages i.e. accommodation and an overall holiday experience for its customers (mainly families and couples). It’s been recognised widely for Albany accommodation services and has been a multiple award winner as well (like the WA tourism awards in 2008 and 2009). Cape Howe is located midway between Denmark ( Western Australia) and Albany and is adjacent to the West Cape Howe National Park. Cape Howe cottages have been operating since the past 11 years and have a philosophy of warmth and simplicity, which the owners believe have led to its success.

David Clarke and Gaynor Clarke are the proud owners of the cottages. The property of the cottage was bought by them after an intensive search (spanning for one month) in 1996 and it initially had a 5 decade old weekender cottage. After around 2 years, the couple built their own cottage and since then there have been a lot of additions and developments done in regard to the cottages that has led to its present state. The 53 acre property is registered by the Department of Conservation and Land Management as a land meant for wildlife.

The cottages are individually secluded and smugly nestled in the private nature reserves. There are various options provided as well and that includes a luxury retreat for two, secret escape with friends, family hideaways and cosy getaways with provisions for pets. All the Albany accommodation cottages offer fully self-contained accommodation and are equipped with TV/Video, DVD player, comfortable beds with all the necessary accessories and so on.
